We’re here to help small businesses

It was small business Saturday yesterday, we only posted a few bits on people and their thoughts. We’ve only be around for 2 months, but we have aimed to cover a lot of small and local businesses within that time, highlighting all the good things that are on offer.

In our short two months of being around this is what we have done.

We have started a Business of the Week section, where each week, we aim to highlight local businesses, what they do and how you can get in contact with them. Banter Cards, Cariad Creative, Bespoke Laser Crafts, Vic Hopkins, Zac & Bella, Able Pet care, Grizzlys and more have all been featured by us.

We will be doing a lot more big features on local businesses within the Vale in the new year. So far, we have looked at Lewis Giles and his amazing artwork and you all about how a local bridal boutique, Wynter Isabelle has been successful since opening.

We’ve looked at local unique shops and online stores in Barry, helping to spread the word on creative, innovative entrepreneurs.

We’ve also featured articles on High Street, how they are in the top 5 places in the UK for independent shops and an article promoting the late night shop evening.

Finally, we broke the news on the new cocktail bar in Barry and don’t forget out top 7 local presents to consider in Barry this year.

The Daily Vale is here for local business. If you have a story or think we should feature your business get in touch, we are here to help spread the word on good things.
