The Four Kicks – 6pm-9pm Sunday December 4th

We caught up with their lead singer Matt, who told us all about who The Four Kicks are!

“The four kicks are four guys who started playing together a few years ago when we met at a local jam night in Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Leicestershire. We all share a love for Kings of Leon and our front man Rob Lea’s vocals has an uncanny resemblance to their singers, so we decided to form a tribute band and went for the name “The Four Kicks” after one of the bands earlier singles. It’s gone from strength to strength since then really, we’ve peformed at a few large events in the UK and Europe and gained a decent following in the process”

What we’ve prepared for ice Central is something completely different to what we normally do however. Rather than going out as a tribute act, we’ll be performing some contemporary hits from the last 5 years and playing them in ways that you haven’t heard before. We’re really excited to share what we’ve got planned with the people of Barry!

With one act still to be confirmed, and street entertainers, Bro Radio there for the opening, Ice Central looks set to be a fantastic event!
