The result is a time machine ride back to the days of Live at Leeds, The Isle of Wight Festival, Tanglewood and the Fillmore shows. It is a must for any Who fan! Check out their Facebook page here.

Sarah Brown who will performing at her first event for Mack Events said the following:

It’s my first time performing at Penarth Rocks and I’m really excited to be part of such an amazing event. I’ll be singing well known covers in my own funky style to really get the place rocking.

Ross Mackintosh, Director of Mack Events commented:

“We have never had a response like we did from the Queen tribute, flash at GlastonBARRY. 2,500 people were blown away as Flash headlined the festival back in July. We had literally hundreds of messages, tweets and emails asking us to bring them back ASAP. We thought if only we could get them in a theatre for Penarth Rocks, but knew it would be difficult as frontman Claudio (Freddy Mercury) lives in Rome, Italy. We made some calls with the flash management and Claudio is flying in from Italy specially to headline Penarth Rocks with the band, we couldn’t be happier.

We have also booked Europe’s number one tribute to The Who-Who’s Next. We have wanted
to book these guys for a very long time but our dates have always clashed. These guys are a brilliant tribute to one of most iconic bands of the last 50 years, we have such a big mod and scooter following in South Wales so we are delighted to bring Who’s Next to Penarth.

“We also have Too Toned a tribute to Ska, Get Ready who play all the Soul and Motown classics, and the festival will be opened by the very talented Sarah Brown. Our Glastonbarry DJ, DJ Lou-E will be playing classic tracks from all genres between each band and we will have some special guests making an appearance. We know that this is going to sell fast and as always we have kept the prices really reasonable-5 live acts which includes two of the best tributes in Europe, £15 for Tickets and we have limited VIP tickets for £25.

Tickets are available at www.penarthrocks.com, Foxy’s Deli or call the box office on 01446 737339.
