Despite the rain, people came out in force to support the High Street Christmas Market. It’s been well documented over recent weeks how High Street in Barry is within the top 5 places in the UK for independent shops, and the Christmas market is another reason why people keep coming to high street to shop.
A number of stalls were on offer including Zac & Bella, A bit of a pickle, Lil Bits and Barrybados, all braving the bad weather to ensure High Street had lots of alternatives on show as well as the great, local, independent shops.
The organisers had done a great job is setting up the stalls the night before and ensuring each stall was ‘rain proof’ before the bad weather hit on Saturday morning.
Entertainment was provided by the fabulous and energetic Tenovus choir, who sang a bunch of songs including some Christmas classics.
Overall it was an enjoyable day and both traders and the public had a good day. Hopefully, the market will return next year. Massive thank you to all the organisers involved for organising another successful Christmas market.
