The Memo Arts Centre, working in partnership with Innovate Trust and Film Hub Wales, are launching
a new film club in October.
Cine-Venture offers its audience an opportunity to enjoy the latest blockbusters and
specialised films, with a meet and greet session before and after the films to discuss the film, enter
competitions, critic the films and enjoy a new social activity, the project aims to support
individuals with their carers to become independent cinema goers.
The relaxed film screenings welcome people with an Autism Spectrum Condition, sensory or
communication disorders, learning disabilities, and anyone who would benefit from a relaxed
environment or just wants to see the film on that day at that time.

At CINE-VENTURE film screenings, an arrival space is provided with a club pre-film forum. Tickets for Cine-Venture film screenings are £5, inclusive of drink, popcorn and a special film note.
What makes the screenings relaxed?
Relaxed Screenings have a less formal and supportive atmosphere in order to reduce anxiety levels.
There is a relaxed attitude to audience noise and movement; the sound level is lower and
low lighting is maintained during the screening.
