Could there be another future boxing star to emerge from Barry and follow in the footsteps of the Selby Brothers?
Step forward 19 year old Jason Sillett, who became the youngest professional boxer in history a few months back and is now set to fight on Frank Warrens ‘A little less conversation’ card at Cardiff’s Motorpoint arena on November 26th.
The stacked card features two World title fights, two British title fights and one European fight including WBO Light heavyweight champion Terry Flanagan defending against Puerto Rico’s former World title challenger Orlando Cruz, Billy Joe Saunders taking on Brooklyn-based Russian Artur Akavov and Welsh hero Liam Williams defending his British Super-Welterweight title against undefeated Londoner Ahmet Patterson.

No opponent has been named for Jason as of yet but he told ‘The Daily Vale’:
“Training has been going well and I’ve been putting in hard work every day, people can expect a good solid performance, showing different improvements in every fight”
Former Barry Island primary and Barry Comprehensive School pupil Jason, will be aiming to go 6-0 when he fights at the motorpoint arena in Cardiff, he said his aim is to “Keep winning and keep climbing to the top”
His most recent fight was against Swindon’s Joe ‘Busy-Bee’ Beeden in Lanchashire in which Jason won on a points decision back in August.
We’re sure Jason will put on a great show on the night and we’ll keep you updated on the result. Good luck Jason!!
