Here at The Daily Vale, we have an aim to provide original and creative content. You may already have seen some of the original videos we have done including, Ice Central, Interviews with Academy Espresso, the Knap Drummer, Gavin Chesterfield and Nino from Marcos café.
We’re now delighted to announce our biggest project to date, a full 30 minute feature documentary on Barry Town United which will celebrate the achievements of Barry Town United AFC, as they play in their first cup final in 12 years. Their struggles have been well documented in recent years, having faced near extinction to then back to back promotions and now the cup final against old rivals TNS on January 21st.
Barry Town United – Stability | Justice | Progress (Working title) will follow the team, players, managers, volunteers, supporters, sponsors and people from within Barry as they give us their thoughts, opinions, memories, good and bad and what Barry Town United means to them.
The Daily Vale would like you to be part of this momentous occasion. The site itself is currently run by two main volunteers, with additional volunteers providing other content. As the site doesn’t have a main source of income, we’re looking for some help from local businesses and the people within the Vale to help create this special video, and something in which the whole town can be proud to be part of.
The full documentary will then be fully completed and edited before May 2017 with a private screening set to be held at the Jenner Suite at Barry Town United’s clubhouse, in which players, officials, and sponsors will be invited to.
We’re giving local businesses the chance to be part of this historic feature with the following sponsorship packages available:
