16 year old robbed at The Knap

South Wales Police are appealing for information after a 16-year-old was robbed as he walked his dog at the Knap in Barry.

At approximately 10.40am on Tuesday, December 20th, the boy was approached by another male as he walked along the promenade.

The man asked the victim for spare change and to use his phone, and when the victim refused he was pushed in to a wall and punched. The victim attempted to fight back before handing over £20 from his wallet.

The suspect, who then ran off towards the skate park, is described as white and in his 20s. He was wearing black tracksuit bottoms, a light grey puffer jacket and a grey baseball cap.
