The closest place would be:

Bridge Cafe – The Knap

Romillys Cafe – The Knap

Both based at the Knap, which is a stones throw away.

Cwtch Cafe – High Street, which is a 5-10 minute walk.

Next closest would be Weatherspoons on Broad street, which of course, you can have a beer with your breakfast as well.

Plenty of local pubs that serve food in Barry including The Cwm Talwg, Tinny and The Cherry Orchard.

Also, Barry island has plenty of cafe’s including Marcos cafe, Whitmore & Jackson, Bay 5 and John’s Cafe.

Plus don’t forget the new Cafe Mount and Academy Espresso.

There will also be plenty of food outlets on the GlastonBARRY site as well.

What can I expect on the GlastonBARRY site?

Plenty of live music, good times, a large bar with a decent queue system, face painting and an amazing atmosphere.

GlastonBARRY has finished, where should I go?

Well, if its the Saturday we suggest you go home to bed, as you need to back down there for 12pm on the Sunday. But if you fancy staying out for a drink or 2, Broad Street would probably be the most popular destination.

On Broad Street and surrounding areas you can find the following pubs and clubs:

Cocoa bar & club

Fizz Bar

The Borough arms

The Gallery cocktail bar

Scarlets Wine Bar

If you want to stretch further afield then, The Park Hotel is a 5 minute walk way and will probably have live music on. Finnegan’s Inn on Barry Island, will be open late. Even further from Romilly park but still within a 5 minute taxi ride away:

The Cwm Talwg

The Tinny

The Buck

Cherry Orchard

As soon as local events are advertised we will up date this section.

So there you have it, this is your handy guide for this years GlastonBARRY. We’ll keep it updated with local offers and information over the next 5 months.
