The BBC Apprentice Winner Alana Spencer Unveils New Business Plans, Along With Brand New Website From Welsh Developers Designer Websites Ltd

Since being crowned as the winner of The BBC Apprentice in December 2016, Alana Spencer has been busy putting Lord Sugar’s £250,000 investment to good use, developing a brand ambassador model, a new subscription service, and a brand-new website for the luxury cake brand Ridiculously Rich.

Alana Spencer, Founder of Ridiculously Rich said: ‘I’m thrilled to see my new business plans coming to life! It’s been a busy few months putting everything together, but I’ve never been one to do things by halves, and it’s all been worth it to see my business develop in new and exciting directions!’

The launch of the new website coincides with the development of the Ridiculously Rich Ambassador Scheme, which has seen budding business people from across the country apply to represent the Ridiculously Rich brand in their chosen region, selling cakes to local businesses and appearing at regional food events.

The ambassadors will have their own page on the new Ridiculously Rich website, which will allow user to meet their local ambassador, and get in touch with them about opportunities in the area.

This brand-new website was created by the well-respected South Wales Web Development Company, Designer Websites, who have created business websites for three previous BBC Apprentice winners, including last year’s winner, Joseph Valente.

Company Director, Jason Fortt, said: ‘It’s fantastic to have been awarded the opportunity to work on another Apprentice winner’s website, especially as Alana is the first winner to have started her business here in Wales. We’re proud to be working with Alana and we hope that her success will go on to inspire more Welsh entrepreneurs to set up their own businesses.’

For many local Welsh foodies, the dream of running their own business is now becoming a reality, with some being selected to represent Ridiculously Rich, as a brand ambassadors for their region. This will allow them to go out and develop their own business connections, trading under the Ridiculously Rich brand within their area.

Alana Spencer said: ‘I’m eager to begin working with my new ambassadors, and can’t wait to watch them grow alongside the business. I know from my travels around the country that Wales is filled with people who are passionate about great food, and from my ambassador applications, it’s clear that many of them also share my entrepreneurial nature and desire for success!’

For established Welsh businesses who would like to work with Alana, there is also the opportunity to apply for a wholesale account on the new website. This allows cafes, restaurants and the like to sell Alana’s delicious cakes, which are now made at Gower View Foods in Carmarthenshire.

In addition to providing new business opportunities, the website remains open to cake lovers who would like to order boxes of Alana’s cakes direct to their door, with a choice of her signature flavours, as well as a ‘Monthly Special’ box. You can even order a cake subscription, for a regular top-up of your favourite treats.
