ALMOST 3000 tickets have been sold for this years GlastonBARRY with the organisers urging people to purchase their tickets as soon as possible.
This years event is set to be bigger than ever with 4000 people attending the event at Romilly Park in Barry on July 29th & 30th. The line up was released in February and it will be headlined by tributes to Stevie Wonder and Prince, as well as returns of tributes for The Jam, Oasis, Stereophonics and The Valli Boys.
We met Mack Events at Romilly Park last week, where they were measuring and marking the site up for this years event, and we must say, it’s set to be ALOT bigger, and of course, there is the big top tent which can accommodate 4000 people.
With VIP tickets sold out, Matt Blumberg commented to Wales Online:
“We are both blown away by the support and response we have had for GlastonBARRY over the past five years. It’s really caught the imagination of everyone in south Wales and we have people travelling from all around the UK to attend. In previous years we’ve even had people flying in from California, New Zealand, Spain and Tonga to attend the festival. It’s quite amazing. We want to say a massive thank you to our main sponsors CJCH Solicitors, Barry Training Services Ltd and Sterling MC Commercial Finance”.
Matt & Ross from Mack Events were also recently interviewed on Bro Radio:
Tickets are available from www.glastonbarry.com or the Piccolo bar on Barry Island, priced at £25 each.
