The Vale of Glamorgan Council’s Returning Officer, Debbie Marles, is set to welcome all Councillors, and all potential future Councillors, to a series of Candidates and Agents briefing sessions for the forthcoming Local Government Elections in May 2017.
The sessions will be hosted by the Returning Officer, who will be providing a presentation that covers the election timetable and processes, nominations, electoral registration and absent voting arrangements.
All sessions are open to current councillors and all potential candidates, and provide an excellent opportunity for those wishing to ask various questions relating to the poll.
They will be held in the Civic Offices, Holton Road, Barry, CF63 4RU on:
- Thursday 23 February 2017 2pm – 4pm (Committee Room 2, Civic Offices)
- Thursday 23 February 2017 6.30pm – 8.30pm (Committee Room 1, Civic Offices)
- Friday 03 March 2017 09:30am – 11:30am (Council Chamber, Civic Offices)
