Barry Town United Granted Welsh Premier League License

Welsh football league division one leaders and Nathaniel MG cup finalists, Barry Town United, have been granted a license for the Welsh Premier league, should they get promoted this year.

The town, who are undefeated in 6 league games recently lost the Nathaniel MG cup final to TNS back in January. They have had 2 promotions in the last 3 years and narrowly missed out on promotion to the Welsh Premier league last season to Cardiff Met.

Their most recent result was a 3-1 away victory to Ton Pentre.

As it stands with 5 games to go, Barry Town need 9 points to gain promotion to the Welsh Premier league. If it happens, it would be the icing on the cake of a remarkable comeback after nearly facing extinction 4 years ago.

We are also in the final stages of our Barry Town Documentary which is set to be released in late May. Fingers crossed and UP THE TOWN!
