Belles had the better of the opening exchanges forcing a number of corners. Reshuffling the shape proved vital as the visitors grew into the game and stemmed the threat down the left.

Dinas used the rolling subs well, Sophie whittle Laura lewis, nao ran themselves into the ground for the team. Emma Higgs replaced the engine jo jones in the middle and it was a like for like swap. Taylor Page and Gemma Crowley showed their quality on the ball with deliveries from wide that could grace any level.

Naomi Wilson had a rare run out in attack and was unlucky not to add to the total.

It’s was very fitting for Alicia Cox to score the 7th as the young fullback was player of match and she put in so many over laps.

Well done ladies league champions, now to prepare for back to back finals. Incredible season for this amazing bunch of ladies who have shown time and time again work rate, effort and a plan can easily beat ability.
